What a stunningly gorgeous day in May to have our Grand Opening Open House! It was great to see so many familiar and new faces to wish us well in our new location. Our "Guess how many images are in this container?" game was a lot of fun, and we are so grateful to the local businesses who donated so generously toward the prize package. You can see more details about the game and the donations here.
Those who stopped by enjoyed some of the sweetest and most eye pleasing treats. So many awesome and talented vendors contributed to our spread including:
Exotica Designs: Owner, Zakia Rad, rocked the dessert table with her lovely linens and serving pieces. The table and our studio blossomed in floral color with her arrangements. Zakia and her assistant created and assembled the most awesome border for our photo booth backdrop. It even coordinated with our brand and colors. It's so pretty -- I don't want to take it down!
The Cookie Munsters: It must be said. The cookies that Nicole Flores cranks out of her kitchen are some of the best I've ever eaten! Couple that with her custom and creative design work, and well, it's a sweet marriage that tickles the eyes and the taste buds. I shared my logo, colors and floral theme with her, and she was off to the races. I love how she shaped the larger cookies to match my logo, and even imprinted my company name on them. I don't know how she did that! Plus, she made itty heart bites to complete the look. If you want something special for your next party or event, give her a shout.
Victoria's Delights: Here is another visual artist turned baker. Victoria created beautiful yellow, grey, and white flower cupcakes, and delicate mascarpone infused simple ones with a heart cutout on top. One guest stated that "usually pretty desserts don't taste good, but it's not the case with these." Yum!
Cake Pops by Tiffany Cassotta. Ok, when you post a late request on a Facebook OC Moms Party page for someone to make cake pops, you never know for sure what you'll get. Tiffany responded via private message with a photo that appeared to be what I was looking for, and her pricing was in line with my budget, so I gave her a call. And boy, am I glad I did!! She delivered above and beyond what I expected with the most scrumptious pops. It's obvious that she pours her heart into each one with so much love and talent...just look at the coordinating sticks, swirls, flowers, dots and tiny ribbons. Truly, amazeballs!!. I can't wait for my next event because she will definitely have my business! She may be contacted via email at blingblingtiffy@msn.com.
Christy's Frosted Delights: Tiffany was another Facebook find, and another gem! She crafted playful and coordinating chocolate covered strawberries, oreos and pretzels that were a hit with all. One guy said he needed to leave because one of her treats would surely turn into 10. HaHa!!
Amazing Cake Creations: Provided yummy mini-cupcakes and lemon bars.
